The 113th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Celebration

MUNAYD received an invitation from the Taipei Liaison Office to attend the 113th National Day of the Republic of China which took place on the 7th October 2024. MUNAYD members attended the event and interacted with other guests during the celebrations. It was an honour to be part of the event and we wish Taiwan the Happiest National Day.

Meeting with the Belarus Embassy

On the 27th of September 2024, our members of stuff had a meeting with Belarus Embassy, where we met the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Andrei Huzich, and discussion took place as we were establishing a form of friendship with them. Some of our MUNAYD members have taken interest in studying in Belarus, hence a meeting was held and further discussion were taken. Some of our MUNAYD members have taken interest in studying in Belarus, hence a meeting was held and further discussion were taken. During the meeting we also extended an invitation to the Belarus Embassy and the youth in Belarus to attend the upcoming event that our organization along with other NGOs are currently preparing for next year.

The farewell ceremony for South African Students that won a scholarship to study Chinese Language in Taiwan.

On the 6th of September 2024, our secretary was invited to the farewell function for the student that will be travelling to Taiwan on Ministry of Education (MOE) scholarship to learn Chinese Language for a year. This event took place at the Taiwan embassy residence and was attended by the student along with parents as well speakers. One of the speakers was our very own Secretary, Siphilile Mbhamali, who is a member of Taiwan Alumni Association (TAA) and she gave a wonderful motivational speech to the students that will be travelling.

The meeting with the Secretary of Taiwan

Our team met with Tim Wen, the Secretary for Taiwan Embassy in South Africa as a show of strengthening our friendship. Our delegates previously travelled to Taiwan for the Annual Global Youth Trends Forum in 2023, hence this meeting took place as an appreciation for attendance. Some MUNAYD members also joined us at the office to welcome Mr Tim Wen. He also extended the same invitation for the upcoming Global Youth Trends Forum in 2024.
